Artist Statement
My practice is process and experimentation-led, working with found objects and found photography, either inherited personal items or pieces I have made the effort to seek out myself. What draws me to found material is what it carries before I get to it.
Though I would broadly align myself with archival practice, I resist the label. The work is less about preservation and more about what happens when you force things together that were never meant to meet.
